Philips HD9225/50 Viva Air Fryer - Mini Review

I recently bought a Phillips Air Fryer. This blog is all about making delicious food with the Phillip Air Fryer.

Here is a mini review of the machine.

My unit comes with a metal basket, which is really handy when cooking wet styled food. i.e with sauce.

The exterior of the machine is all plastic construction which could get very hot during use.
It should be ok for continuously use. My longest continuous cooking time with it is just over 60 minutes with intermittent 2 minutes break at 20 minute intervals. I have to stop to shake the food inside the basket to get them cooked thoroughly.

This is an amazing piece of kitchen appliance.
It's small, quiet and portable.
It cooks food faster than conventional oven.

I normally don't pre-heat it. I just cook straight away.
Food turns out fantastic. For best results, stay within this range 120c - 180c.
Fish is crispy on the skin and juicy and succulent inside.
Chicken is the same. Well cooked all around and still juicy, soft and moisture inside.

When I use the conventional oven, I always have the wrap the food in aluminium foil to prevent the food from drying out too much. When I am not using foils, I must place food inside a casserole pot with lid on to lock in the moisture in the food.

er-cooked food and say Hello to crispy, tasty cooking.
